SHIPPING
If you are shipping your items out of state, you may or may not have to pay tax for your state. After the auction, if you are the winning bidder you will be emailed the link to our Shipping Form to fill out (as soon as possible). The form requires a credit card. In addition to the $100 per lot deposit included on your invoice for shipping, your card will be charged and you will receive an updated invoice for any charges over and above the deposit for the cost of shipping (including the box(es), carrier fees and $50 handling per lot).

IMPORTANT: If you choose to coordinate shipping through a third party shipping company or pickup your items from the auction we are required by Arizona State law to charge Arizona sales tax on this transaction AND our insurance will not cover the shipment.

Allan Houser (1914–1994) is widely recognized as one of the most influential Native American sculptors of the twentieth century. A member of the Chiricahua Apache Tribe, Houser transformed Native American sculpture through his distinctive modernist style, blending graceful abstraction with deeply human themes. His monumental public commissions and intimate bronzes alike are celebrated for their elegant simplicity, emotional depth, and timeless expression, earning him an enduring place among America's most important sculptors.

Two figures are united in quiet dialogue, their simplified silhouettes emphasizing connection, understanding, and shared humanity rather than individual detail. The sculpture's graceful composition and smooth, organic lines embody the serenity and spiritual sensitivity that define Houser's work. Cast in a limited edition and acquired from The Gallery Wall in Scottsdale, Arizona, this bronze represents an exceptional example of the artist's mature vision and his lasting contribution to modern American sculpture.
