This lot's overall appearance is Good. This piece was evaluated under a black light. Some minor craquelure lines scattered around the painting. 1/4" x 3/4" area of paint loss on man's chest revealing yellow underpaint.

After the auction, if you are the winning bidder you will be emailed the link to our Shipping Form to fill out (as soon as possible). Instead, he went West to live with cowboys and Native Americans. He settled in Taos, where he studied with Leon Gaspard and worked in dual worlds—fine art and illustration. He later bought and expanded his Hobby Horse Ranch, where he raised a variety of animals, including burros.
