SHIPPING
If you are THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER and shipping your items out of state, you may or may not have to pay tax for your state. After the auction, if you are the winning bidder you will be emailed the link to our Shipping Form to fill out (as soon as possible). The form requires a credit card. In addition to the $100 per lot deposit included on your invoice for shipping, your card will be charged and you will receive an updated invoice for any charges over and above the deposit for the cost of shipping (including the box(es), carrier fees and $50 handling per lot).

IMPORTANT: If you choose to coordinate shipping through a third party shipping company or pickup your items from the auction we are required by Arizona State law to charge Arizona sales tax on this transaction AND our insurance will not cover the shipment.

Frank McCarthy (1924–2002) is widely regarded as one of the premier painters of the American West, renowned for his dramatic depictions of Native American life, cavalry scenes, and frontier history. After achieving national recognition as one of America's leading commercial illustrators, McCarthy devoted his career to fine art, where his meticulous research, masterful draftsmanship, and cinematic compositions established him among the foremost Western artists of the twentieth century. His paintings are prized for their historical authenticity, striking use of light, and powerful sense of movement and atmosphere.
 
Nite Patrol exemplifies McCarthy's ability to combine historical narrative with compelling visual drama. Set beneath a brooding moonlit sky, a mounted patrol moves cautiously through a rugged rock-strewn landscape, the monumental formations and dramatic lighting heightening the sense of anticipation and quiet resolve. The artist's masterful handling of atmosphere and composition creates a scene that is both historically evocative and emotionally engaging, reflecting the qualities that have made McCarthy's work enduringly popular with collectors of Western art.
