From the consignor: Joe Beeler stopped by my brother’s service station in Sedona, Arizona and asked if he could do a local painting of the Sedona area and donate it to the Sedona Rotary club as a fund raiser. My brother was the President of the Rotary Club, at the time, and told the artist he would bring it up at a meeting. The group agreed and they set up a program where they would sell $100.00 tickets. Tickets were placed in a bucket and a drawing was held - the last ticket drawn would win the original painting. The Rotary Club was raised between 20 and 30 thousand dollars. The money was used to upgrade and build a Little League ball diamond at the Posse grounds in Sedona, Arizona. The last ticket in the bucket was drawn and the winner was our father. My brother and I are now the heirs.
